I would have a question about STABO-XM 4006!
There the white cable is separated for frequency expansion and the jumper is set from right to left.
I’ve changed several Stabo XM 4006 so.
But with the last device after the jumpers the Band-switch did not work anymore. Now only the European standard is working.
Do you know the problem?
Could the problem be solved?

Modification area has mod for XM4006 nothing changes unless CRT Megapro I believe.

Hi Good Morning, Since I posted the modification more than 3 people have made mistakes and ultimately ruined a good radio. I’m sorry I can’t add the photo.. An engineer will find it as it’s small it needs precision, equipment, steady hand and good eyes.

In the manual downloaded from President it’s not in it at all. Some radios it did work Walker for example. Henry 12/24v need time and I’ll find out.

Interesting section – I wonder has anyone any suggestions for the best place to get a hi/low TX signal on the CRE8900/DR-135UK to enable amplifier switching. The signal is there just best place to get with ease of access and minimal side affects?

Apollo II has three power settings. 4/8/15w and the modification is in the modification section. Check CRT-2000 or Team Expert1. Look for a white wire and follow instructions for CRT-2000

I received a new Harry 3 from a client, who is asking me info on the export mode, and my distributor isn’t able to give me a correct answer. Is it possible to increase power on this device ? If yes, what is the procedure ? It’s a PA-502AA PCB. So the mod (available on the net) by adding the brown wire is not possible as is (PCB different). The 120 channels mod (white wire and move jumper) works well.

I’ve got a 6900n It was 1.40 read out they told me to press fun mode emc buttons together to open it up to 25.30mhz it’s gone back to 33 channel 19 now how do I put it back to how it was any ideas people cheers
Did you reset the radio? If yes then need PC to change 1-40 the UK channels. My guess is you reset it to default 25.6 Band A to 28.305 Band F channel 40. If that’s it then hook up to PC and reprogram it
Hi simon im having probs with the L45 mod on my crt 2000 ive done the mod as per on your mod page, I get the 4,8 and 15 watts but rig wont trasmit or receive on any band please help.

If I reconnect the white export wire on Lincoln 2 will it revert to standard set?
On standard V3 yes it should revert it to 28000-29700 if connect and make reset

I asked and was told on Lincoln II v3 reconnect wire and perform reset and defaults to standard 10m. Not tried it but that’s what I’m told.

The McKinley USA is 40 channels FCC that’s it. No expansion of channels at all. Nothing else inside

Hi James. Premium has FM in rU mode. Jumper + Wire and then press mode switch and will cycle AM, FM, USB, LSB, UKFM

“Need the mod” 60 channel is via software and cable so not sure what exactly you need. If need extend 40-60 channel then need software and cable

It’s due to many reasons. FCC subscribe here, OFCOM in UK. So ending the mods online for this reason. Plus Some light “pressure” from multiple factories and resellers. So after this mods can be seen here, the old ones and new ones (if I’ve got them) via email.

No simon it just displays the norms EC U IN D PL .No bands ABC anywhere, when I select IN it only shows 27 channels I’ve no frequency counter so not sure what band it is ! If you pick up any info let me simon out of interest many thanks again

Hi Richard. Yes and no! Schematic yes, adjustment points and what they are used for no.
hi simon I have a cre-8900 and recently only on usb the frequency is off in the service menu on usb it already is at its lowest number bf 130 on usb the radio must be tuned to 28.384 to be on 28.385 only on usb all other modes are right on frequency
any ideas?

I constantly follow the posts on the 6110, but I Know i speak for a lot of people when I say I just want the Power Mod.. Its obvious there is a modulation limiter in this radio. For this to be a big seller in the US this is important. I can tell by running this radio, it should swing at least 15 watts on am, I promise if this was published, this would be a big seller in the US , but when all i can get is 7 watts, its hard for me to promote the (Anytone SMART) to all my CB buddies.. HELP!!
I asked at the maker for you. They told me as the PCB is designed now it is not possible to get more than 8w AM. I asked about swing and limiter and seems there is not anyway in “current PCB” to make more. Of course if you know how then that’s sure, I can only reply what they told me.

Chris, I have no idea of someone elses electronic knowledge but here goes. I just finished opening up the modulation and swing on my anytone smart. With the radio upside down and the controls facing you, there is a surface mount transistor just to the right of the modulation adj. pot. Carefully lift the bottom, center leg of this transistor. Now on the right side of the ckt board there is the audio amp transistor (mje2955). It’s leads are facing toward the back of the radio.Just above the center lead there are two surface mount caps. one is horizontal and goes between the center lead and the left lead. just above that cap is a vertically mounted cap. There are two of these caps side by side. It is the one on the left. Carefully connect the anode of a signal diode (1n4148 or 1n914 etc.) to the far side of the left vertically mounted cap. Connect the cathode (the stripe end) of the diode to the center lead of the audio amp transistor. Now Program the radio for PL (low power ) so you can adjust your AM deadkey with the pot just below the modulation pot. The installed diode is your swing mod.
I have my deadkey set at 3 watts and swing up to twenty.

Hi It turns out the guy I was talking to didn’t know that you had to toggle the am/fm/sub button to get uk40 …it’s all working now thanks
Quick Q please, on a grant 2 export mod, if you put a switch on do you have to switch the white wire back to connect aswell as jumpers? I put DP switch on mine to switch wire and jumpers and works a treat but a friend has tried without switching the white wire and he cant get uk40. I heard from another website that the white wire didnt need reconnecting!

Mine I cut wire. Switch in down is export and up in legal norms. So wire cut and that’s how mine is done
