  1. Bastards! Its a tease!

The one they used as a prop, the KN-920?

No thanks, too close to the price of an ICOM IC-718

    • Yes it seems but as I’ve told on Facebook a dealer in Italy told me it’ll come as the KN-920 had poor quality and so another company took it on? This I don’t know but same guy has told many the same story I’ve read.

  2. yes I agree I very nice radio for some free band and 10w more then enough to get some great contacts and I would think it could be made to cover more freqs a very good looking radio Simon

  3. That would be a great free band rig even at 10 watts out, it is plenty to drive an amp. Any idea on the street price?

    • Oh hell, that is pretty affordable…. Any ideas on the MARS/CAP mods?

    • Absolutely none at all. Some others not Baofeng transmitted all the places they received so maybe the case with this? Don’t think it’ll be too difficult. I’ve asked already at the factory but Sunday so not anybody there today.

    • I’ll keep an eye on your blog to see if you find out anything.

I also wish one of these would come out with wider TX audio bandwidth, at least 40-4 kHz audio sound great on air and the HIFI SSB guy would probably get some to play with…
