Thanks so much to Alex in Kazakhstan who sent me an interesting email with a link to a video from Radiochief in Russia which shows them replacing a filter in the Vector VT-27 Smart which is of course based on the Anytone Smart and the Albrecht AE-6110 and all others of the same maker. An interesting video, in Russian by boy it shows some differences..

It looks as if the original filter was faulty. There was a bad batch of these made. I changed some in an 897 that has the same kind of stuff on the outside. The radios rx was awful until they were changed. I am just guessing as i dont speak russian.
