Seems that the Yaesu is a little closer to release and thank you Patrice who sent me these via email. He told me the radio is soon now in the market and he is really excited that it will be a good one. At the moment I’ve no idea of any price or availability but I’m happy to feature the radio with the photos and thank him for his time and sending me the email.
Looks indeed a nice radio and now the hardest task and that’s waiting for more information about it.

Its time that Yaesu made some affordable 100watts mono band uhf or vhf with 9k6 data ports with analog signal meter and N connectors. The 991 is 250 usd overpriced with bad AM bugs, and this one 891 does not have 144 /440 /no oled.
Hmmm looks like a nice and compact mobile HF rig.
Looking at the number, i still Thinks its more a FT857 replacement then a FT897 replacement though.
And an starting price ?
