DSP On A CRT 6900N

Had a few minutes spare time so thought I’d try and see how it works. The station whose on the other end is Kurt 40AT101 in Liechtenstein which today celebrates National Holiday while others in Switzerland and Germany are celebrating Mariä Himmelfahrt free day.

Conditions have to be good to get Liechtenstein from here based on the mountains and also the fact that it is under 700km straight line. This year has been however exceptional having spoken to Waldemar LR010 and also Michael AT102 so it’s been exceptional year indeed.

The station from my side was the CRT 6900n with some modifications, standard microphone and the antenna was the Antron 99 with Firestik tip. Himalaya having been retired it’s back onto the old Antron from the early 90’s.

I’m also a proud member of the AT Liechtenstein Team. Maybe we can hold 40AT/000 there sometime during 2017. Could be possible I guess.. The sound that appears to return via speaker is talkback on radio, it was on low setting 1 and this returned via DSP speaker as muffled audio.

    • Aha I thought that had ended so I’ll drop them a note later. Junk location so can’t install for example 827 or something like that. Thank you for the excellent link

    • I damaged it on a journey and as replacement delivered here is well over €200 I need get a new one when I’m a country that sells it. Works better lower down 26 than A99 for me. Just need wait now till can get another, and next trip outside HA long time off I guess..
