End of the month throwback. An antenna that I used with good effect in the 90’s mostly on FM for sporadic-e condition DX the Sirio Space Shuttle. Antenna was a 5/8 mobile antenna but the key point was the radials on the bottom of it. It sure looked impressive on the Mag mount. I see now these are commanding prices recently over €80 for a used one on a magnet. Would be good if they made an updated version based on Turbo 5000 5/8.

The problem with them remaking anything from the past, be it radio, aerial, whatever, is that they would be made of poor quality in comparison. However, they still carry the premium price.
