#tbt Midland 100M

Guess many people who started out in the heady early days of CB radio remembers the Midland 100M. As I recall was Made in Korea and featured a PA socket and external loudspeaker socket. AM only of course and I remember the original 40 channels in the right hands could be extended to 80. Still see them now on eBay sometimes fetching quite good prices but was a good radio and deserves to be on the throwback list.

  1. I remember this rig back in 79, first saw one in a fellow breaker’s Saab turbo, I had the hots for his daughter lol…we were only 10 and 11 at the time . happy memories.

    • Me too. I saw one in a Chevette around same time and it was looking great. The car not so great but had an Avanti drilled on it and a “non suss” hidden antenna. Oh boy those were the days 😀
