Looking for a replacement microphone then I’m told this one is now available. Called the Komunica DM-518 6P this particular one comes six pin but it’s also available as a four pin as I understand. The price is I’m informed around €20~€25 depending on version of the microphone purchased.

Knights sell these in the UK for £14.95 for the regular version, and £15.95 for the one with channel change buttons.

I just checked the Knights Website; it seems they only carry the electret mic element version (the DM520), not the 518 Dynamic Element version shown in this Post… I would have ordered one, and ate the international shipping cost, just to test one for the audio quality.
I guess I’ll keep looking

Wow, nice audio response listing: 100-6000 HZ. That could provide a smooth, more natural sounding voice on air.
