Over the past few weeks I’ve received messages mostly from the UK that the Himalaya WB from President wasn’t working as expected from the box. How and why varied tales about SWR, receive etc. How do you comment when yours works well? You get a spray painted used one and try it out.

It arrived on Wednesday last week via a courier and now will be used in future endeavors on the air from now onwards and I’ll report back in 2019. Easiest way! Can’t answer honestly why so get a used one and try it.

Just an initial statement. My first Himalaya WB has constant S2-4 noise on SSB no matter what time of day, the painted test piece has S1 most of the time and occasional peak to S2. So we will see. Exactly same pole, cable, radio, filter, toning changed at all.
