Our friends at Qixiang have kindly let me have some more information about the D-578UV which has appeared online in a few blogs recently. Remember “ALL” timelines and details can change during evaluation and testing process of radios from prototype till released model.
Timeline: The radio will need CE / FCC Approval and can take 2 months +
CE Approval: This can only happen when final PCB ready and it isn’t now
Testing: It’s in the early stages of testing and this continues onwards
Price: As a guideline it’ll be around or higher than $300. And remember 25% Trump Tax would apply in the USA for cost
Features: Will work with a cordless microphone via Bluetooth
As Markus tells me always “now we must wait”
