Happy Birthday 300 Liechtenstein

A small country with a big heart celebrates today it’s 300th Birthday. Furstentum Liechtenstein nestled in the alps is a truly beautiful place to visit with many interesting places, a cute capital city and amazing views from the alps. In Amateur radio terms it’s known as HB0 while in free band it’s 40 division. If you’ve not been you don’t know what your missing.

  1. Sadly, the Old Castle Inn isn’t appearing in Google searches so I suspect that it may be gone! If so, what will have happened to all of the Ireland / Jack Charlton football memorabilia from behind the bar?

    • The old castle has been renovated and changed in the last few years. They’ve also changed the car park area that’s close to it 🧙‍♂️

  2. Yeah, it’s a great place. Sitting in the Old Castle Inn twenty years ago, the oomph band came in busking. When the accordion player took his hands off to collect tips, the accordion kept playing! He then reveals the mini boom box inside the instrument. 😂🎶
