Something BRAND new now from Nanfone and I must try to explain it in the right way. I think it’s the “world’s first” CB that combines MP3 and FM radio that works on your cars existing speakers. Plus Bluetooth connection for microphone and other handsfree equipment. Add to this it’s DIN size and has a high power mode hidden on the inside too. CB and MP can operate at the same time and when use CB music can be played via headset for example. The extended features also include USD, SD Card plus I’d guess a quite extensive export mode.
This is a developing story so will be added onto over time. The above things are confirmed as I know them now.
The 8500 internal Bluetooth is for playing music. To use Bluetooth for CB you’ll need to plug in the dongle and use the Nanfone Bluetooth microphone. The radio is of course dual voltage 12/24v

Indeed, SSB here in the US is a big deal, It is less than ideal but what can you do!?
I think some SSB radios will be refreshed in 2019 so maybe later in the year something new’ish will come. McKinley EU comes in the next months and then guess we wait and see if these refreshed radios will come.. Timeline I’m not aware of at the moment
