Hawkins-Radio Thunderbolt SSD58+

For Xavier, John, Peter L and Stephen you’ve written about this 5/8 wave antenna. I know and understand at least one of you run the antenna as I’ve seen it online. I’m going to try on when I’ve time and will tell you about it in due course. It’s on e of the antennas that’s in a line here so it’ll be sometime. If you can’t wait then below we’ve got the eBay details next. 303142953252

  1. Hi Simon, I’ve just had the pleasure of purchasing a Thunderbolt. I saw your earlier post and thought I’d give it a try.
Swr is great right across the full range of my President Grant 2 Export mode and qrm is reduced to practically zero. I’ve mounted mine on a fibre glass flag pole fixed to an aluminium scaffold pole. Great product and support from Hawkins Radio.

  3. Looks like a Sirio Gainmaster without the fiberglass pole? Or at least the same principal.
