Back to Germany this time for “ForestRadio” modification of the Albrecht AE-6110 high power modification for FM mode. You’ll see it’s the matter of installing a switch on the bottom cover and then jumper the final transistor (shorting it) to make it work at the higher power.

hi, if Albrecht ae-6110 is changed to 8 watts (op1 ground), can I make this change 20 watts?
20 watt is possible FM but loose AM by bridging the output transistor (short circuit of it)

Man, that little radio had got yo get pretty damn hot at those power levels
4Watt or 20Eatt doesn‘t matter. The temperature is the same on both power levels.
