So far we’ve heard in a few days that this radio is “Dead in UK nobody will buy it” although I know of people who’ve wrote to the blog and / or Facebook telling me that’s rubbish as they’ve bought one! PLUS a couple of guys say how hard it is to get as all sold out! I’ve been told I’d buy a Kenwood TS-50s as same price (but you use your Superstar 360 from 80’s) so it’s also not true! And I’ve personally wrote on many occasion the price is probably artificially high due to limited stock availability. Below from France McKinley cheaper than Lincoln II + and only €10 more than Grant II Premium. People went to war at 16-18 years old, some died, some returned home but you cry about the cost of a CB Radio. I mean, REALLY!!

  1. the moaners will moan they all wanted ssb and its a good radio with ssb, it will cost good money so now we have fm am and ssb and still they moan, but you can not please every one ,life’s to short and if they have sold out all ready, its says some one has a cave full of the radios, and every day in the uk there is a great net running am fm and ssb, so Eric if you put the cb radio on you might get a shock and hear them,

  5. The only advantage I see is the DIN-mount dimensions and the front speaker. If this radio will be interesting for truckers, I doubt. And correctly, the price moves into an area for which you already get very good 10/11m export radios or even used amateur radios. I therefore assume that the McKinley will not be successful, at least not with such a high price.

    • Lothar I think you need to read thread again price wise it priced the same as the other president its UNIDEN made not your typical Chinese production your another one that pre judging it before trying one or hearing reviews I disagree I think it will be a winner for president

    • Just heard that a dealer in the UK had them £255 / €288 delivered in the UK and the message is:

      SOLD OUT not sure when next will come….
