So contest weekend and weather in mid 30’s Celsius and what antenna to choose. I’d bought what seems a light years away a Extreme Livewire DRX111 Antenna and needed to try it out as people have asked. So onto a wowantenna 10m mast it went and into the deep blue Budapest sky. Below some results and what’s happened over the course of the weekend
Saturday’s Furthest Distances:
Even worked the boss 1AT1 Aldo! Great to be called. Distance 881 KM / 548 miles
Cape Verde Islands: 5,313 KM and in miles 3,302
Canary Islands (Fuerteventura) 3,554 KM and in miles 2,209
Saturday Countries Worked:
Italy
France
Northern Ireland
Sardinia
Corsica
Canary Islands
Denmark
United Kingdom
Holland
Sweden
Cape Verde Islands
And then came Sunday
Germany
Spain
Belgium
Malta
Also again worked Cape Verde Islands and 1AT1
Was busy in the morning working 41 stations in around 3 hours!!
So that’s it! You’ve asked and that’s what I’ve managed on my antenna.

C’est une copie des antennes et documents de Hawkins Radio ce n’est pas la même qualité, il faut le dire, je préfère la Thunderbolt SSD 58 5/8 qui pousse plus loin.
