You’ve got your new FT-3DE from Yaesu so sure you’d need a headset? €27.90 is the price for this new Bluetooth headset from Yaesu. As I understand this is the headset designed for the radio and comes with a USB socket for charging. Available from dealers now. Have you already tried one on your radio? Please let me know.

Since a few days i use it at home in connection with my yaesu ft 100de. You can charge it via USB on the laptop. The headset has volume control via little up down buttons and ofcourse you can transmit also… via press 2 times a button, if you want stop transmit, press the button once again 2 times. So this have the effect, that you have a little delay during the Rx/Tx procedure and it is better… you inform your qso partners about this. All in all… the headset do a good job. If you had worked before with the hand mikrofon with… example.. strong micegain, now, with the headset you must reduce the micegain in your transmitter to normal setting, becouse your modulation will be to strong.
