We are already three days into the year and I’m off on a couple of days break in Tokaj land of wine here in Hungary. Amazon delivered an antenna for test arriving before the New Year and so we start off the year with looking at the PNI Extra 48 Made in China, available from Romania directly or via Amazon. But you know what’s funny? This antenna was £30 plus expedited shipping. Now online in Hungary PNI have announced a price cut with the antenna now available for a limited time for £12 plus £2.50 shipping.

I remember seeing a polish version of the Virginia a while back and it had a sliding tip same as DV27 🙂
that would probably make it work on UK40, its on YT somewhere and I’m positive it’s also by PNI ?
Happy New Year Nigel. Absolutely true! I’ve got a couple here with the sliding tip. Shall we call it a v1 of the current PNI 45 that came. Indeed was tunable on UK40. Current version works UK40/EU also with little trouble at all 🧙♀️
