As we know Bias an Italian company manufacturers amongst other things what they name as Avanti AV251 and Avanti AV261 Antennas. We’ve recently mentioned them on Facebook and Instagram. The cost of one of these (AV261) was a little over €149 and the 251 a little cheaper. I was sent the photos below via a weird email address that body replies to mails from. BUT they are the insides of the 261 antenna.

I have purchased a 261 for my truck and for the life of me I’m struggling to get the swr down, Its mounted on a bracket I spotted in Italy and I know the ground plane is rubbish, but after seeing the Italians running this system(bracket and aerial) I thought i would be ok. Im struggling to find any help in English and desperately need some before I decide to spit my dummy.
It’s incredibly difficult these times to contact them as CONVID19 area and the business closed of course. Best bet is via Facebook, they’ve telephone and WhatsApp and email here too. The name is BIAS Italia if you look it up contact can be made here and I’m sure some decent advice
