Since the article about the Midland Mini USB I’ve received many emails from Italy. Below is “again” the export mode on the original Midland M Mini which quite possibly is the same with the new version albeit not confirmed at the moment. So think long and hard before destroying the warranty.

Too bad that Amateurband version has wrong steps. FM use on 10mtrs is in steps of ’round” 10 kHz and specially in the frequencyrange between 29.000 to 29.690 MHz
Radio works in 5 or 0 ending so it’s ok but not in “ham band” only export mode ending 0
As you say no warranty and if it’s workable good
