My big thanks to Tony C in Louisiana whose very kindly wrote to the blog with news of the Randy FCC. Yesterday the 11th of February a press release was published announcing the arrival of the radio this month to North America & Canada and revealed the cost will be $139. Tony’s been waiting for this radio for over a year and a half! Hope you’ll get one in the hands quickly and have many hours of use Tony. Thank you for the news.

How time flies! The 12 months of President was in 2018 and the Randy was the December offering. I’m looking forward to testing that battery to see how long it will push out 4 watts. And the built in microphone quality. I’m not expecting Blue Yeti quality capsules, but if it handles plosives at all. Please bring Pizza Pronto.
So that’s £100 / €114….. It will be interesting to see how much the Randy 3 is when it hits the shops in the EU 😮
