*New’ish* Retevis RT-73 DMR

This is a sort of delayed post as DMR isn’t my thing and I didn’t know much about this radio until Jeff asked me to add it. He told me it’s well built, great audio, awesome screen and great features onboard! That’s enough for me to add it here. Other than that it’s small size, has 5 or 20 watts power, comes with space for 300,000 DMR slots, 136-174 and 400-480 MHz with inbuilt GPS and Moto TRBO compatibility.

1x Mini Mobile Radio
1x Hand microphone
1x GPS antenna
1x Power cord
1x Bracket
1x Screw
1x Instructions
Screen looks very Yaesu style

  1. You would most likely regret buying one of these. The CPS is horrible and the radio, while really neat just isn’t there yet. It has distorted audio on analog and other issues. They have been trying to sell it for almost two years now by changing the name and model number. Each time the new model is promised to be debugged and fixed.
I bought one over a year ago and worked with it for several weeks with new firmware revs and new versions of the CPS but could never really dial it in.
After a war of words Retevis finally refunded my money but it took months and lies from them telling me they never received it. To PayPal tracking and finding it had been onsite at their location for 2 weeks.
I will never buy another Retevis product after that incident.
