Just a notice or an advisory detail. I saw last week that Pihernz are selling at dealers the AT5289MK2 radio and as part of the deal it showed a PC cable as part of the advertisement. I’ve since then asked at a reseller if indeed the cable is part of the package which is sold.

Answer is NO! No programming cable comes with the radio and no price for the cable is known now. It needs a software update so you’ll need a cable. Just an advice….

So be careful, the advert isn’t 100% correct.

And this radio does need some firmware updates whether now or in the near future.
