Which Radio Are You Waiting For?

So which radio are you waiting for (if any) Myself was waiting for the Lincoln II but as more information comes out and the time slips into longer than the Comes Fall 2013 I can say am over it. Will get one but am more interested in the Grant II at the moment.

Got a second tell them what you think as we know that GPE reads this blog in various countries around the world

  1. I want my CB Radio to be a President Grant II. I like the new age design panel and such but then, i dont know much about the hardcore details of inside setup on the board. Hope It comes without the problems of President Jackson II ASC something about finals. Since i am saving alot of money and President Brand seems to be the sole cb radio distributor in India, i might as well get the best/latest of AM/FM/SSB radio with of course the 5 year warranty 🙂

    • Hello Mr_Comet thank you for writing. Yes we must wait and see I guess but sure there will be some DNA of Jackson II (my guess) as easier and cheaper to engineer. I believe the IN band will be there which was not with the Jackson II. President are strong in India for radios but RM Amplifiers & Sirio Antennas both good EU companies sell too.

      Grant II I’ve asked for one ASAP but sadly don’t know when it will come. It’ll be on my youtube simonthewizard as soon as it can be.

  2. Seems that the nail has been hit on the head by Mr Wizard. I voted too slow as look at the last 3 years with all the clones (you know what I mean) and the quick(ish?) bucks made from them.Make a version for inhouse testing and send it off to a selected few radio magicians for testing and be a large enough company to read and incorporate the suggestions. Then and ONLY then roll it out and with a Trademark like President it will sell like hotcakes. Look around at some of the Radio Forums. In the shack I still have a George FM and Lincoln earning their keep every day. They are both 1995 models.If President do release something with the name George or Lincoln it needs to be built to last as a sequel (normally) means better than the first.

    I think president is after my money by releasing two SSB radios…..
    I like the Anytone 5555 radios but i do not like how the look. So please Qixiang do not release the 6666 and 5555N before 2015 i will go bankrupt.

  5. i will wait and see wot the reviews are like and if it ok the lincoln i might buy one but the grant ll that might be interesting.
