Large colour screen, full duplex operation, 6.25Khz step and crossband usage is what seems to be on offer with the soon to be released KG-UV8D. Prices are not confirmed at the moment although a source in the USA told me should be less than $150 give or take. As per usual the radio will feature the Chinese and English voice menu.

Release date not known at the present but as they are releasing the Quad Band mobile radio I think this one will come sooner rather than later onto the market.
