In the last days photos have surfaced and sent to me with PC Mode on the display on the Lincoln II. I understand that when connected to some software from other model’s made by Qixiang the words PC and then PCEnd come on screen when playing around with the software. AS we are all aware the Lincoln II does not support software other than service mode (for qualified engineers) but nice to see some are playing around. REMEMBER not to bust the radio, warranty will be invalid and playing with things that are not supported can make issues with the radio further down the line.

Remember:

Expensive Radio
Breaks Easily
No warranty
No support if you mess it up

And most of all when you break it and return it. “It broke when I tried to run PC software on it which it does not support at all” So take note, not worth the try really is it..

Thanks guys for sending me the photos and am not sure this is an area we should look more into. I have posted it so we can have a discussion around the radio “for just another time” I tried the connection myself and yes it worked and showed PC but the board around the CPU got super hot. Not any other experiments planned here at all…
