Like with many radios now they can perform in different market areas with the closing or opening of s jumper. This option appears the same with the Bond Telecom produced Luiton 298 which as well as being sold for the EU bands appears now for sale from Asia for 10m AM/FM 

  
It really looks to me in some ways Uniden’esque with the font, channel change, colour of front panel etc but of course from an old design. I don’t think it will be sold in the EU in 10m mode? But it is sold for CB radio market now in the UK.
