Nevada has delivered the goods again and thanks to DrAwesome for the kindness to send the link. In fact two great options. The first is the radio alone as it stands, the second is with the excellent Colorado 1800 Power antenna and these do work well. I’ve worked all over the world with one and like it a lot has to be said.

Great combination for me this was. But you know my Lincoln II had its backlight issue but it is actually now in the skilful hands of the Balaruc men in the Batcave to repair the lights. Been gone around 10 days now and when (or if) it returns it will be on the antenna mentioned above again. Mobile it worked like hell, the radio however didn’t work too well at home. That’s life!

And for £169.95 I think it’s fair price, actually a good price. Haters will always hate. But it’s a nice deal.

But I’ll go on record as saying this. The Version II Balaruc is an excellent radio. It works faultlessly and for those that write everywhere President out source there repairs it is clearly not true. They have a service department and they carry out the work there. It’s not outsourced to a John Doe company, so when it is written so it’s clearly not true or correct.

And for the duration of the guarantee that President provides I think the price is very fair indeed.
