Thanks once more to DrAwesome for the kindness to send the link so the readers of the blog can take a look at the M0OGY test on air with the radio. I see it has a couple of minus points on YouTube but don’t know the reason. Dave lives in a noisy spot am told and the received signal wasn’t that bad. Would be nice to see it side by side against maybe 10m Grant II modified.
What else can I say? Seems the receive behaves in a way like Qixiang does. But we need more tests and of course the CB radio on air and SSB tests as 10m isn’t where most of the future users will use it. Only a small small small minority will be using it there am sure. Also maybe NB or hi cut was not in use, don’t know so don’t ask me as the author of the video as the first reference point.

Verdict? Not got one. I’m awaiting one to arrive and as CB man who was once an amateur (licensed but better being a pirate, can take amateur out of the man but never the pirate) we will see how it is on kick ass CB mode. Mine won’t be a review in the case of what buttons mean, it will be what radios does it kick the ass of and what is the final cost to get them into the EU.

Doesn’t sound that good and if it’s almost $300 plus taxes in the US, it ain’t going to be any less than £250 in the UK.

This is a Goodwill Telecomm project? Looks like a rehash of Maxlog/with omega/delta force buttons.
And why oh why, a mic socket on the left. I know because it’s made for left hand drive vehicles. At least the Japanese have the sense to put the socket on the front panel, be they Amateur or 11M like the Alinco.
It’s a born and bred MAXLOG radio
