Anybody remember this antenna that started life I guess some 20-30 years ago and went under the name of the President DX Flash? It was antenna that glowed when you keyed the microphone but seems sadly didn’t catch on. Photo is from the excellent CB-Museum.

  
So now in the days when Sirio will release the ever so popular 5000 series with a LED when transmit we looked back in time to one of the first or indeed maybe the first? Antenna which glowed when transmitted
