Thank you to Pavel who sent me the link to the video below. 446Mhz is indeed a magic band. Many have spoken great distances just with simple equipment. My best was 176km with 400mw with an Albrecht Watch PMR and 216km with a Tecom Watch with 450mw. Plus many others well documented on YouTube. The video below “shows” a 627km contact, would be nice to see locator to locator information
