Yaesu have released news recently on a new CFM Dual Band hand held radio which will come to market with prices $190 including shipping being noted so far in the USA.  The radio comes with wideband Receive 108-520Mhz and a 7.4 battery will power the radio to 5 watts of RF power. I guess the bigger surprise is that Yaesu continue to manufacture in Japan where others such as Kenwood and Alinco have both changed to China and Malaysia for some of the product line up.
