Here is something for Bruce H in Canada. He told me about his radio being unlocked some months ago (was April 27th) and the components were connected to the speaker by tape to hold them tight after removal. Then Rob P told me also about his evaluation on the radio. And then last night I get more information from an operator in Colorado with more information, and then earlier today a video was sent to me.

All I’m going to say is CRS (CouRSe)

I’m not going to attempt this on my McKinley as it’s said don’t need a paperweight. Good luck for the guys who’ve attempted this and thanks to Bruce in Toronto and Rob in the UK for the unlocking hints.
