*SOON* Thunderpole Orbitor HD

Ordered via Amazon a few weeks ago and it’s arrived via DHL and soon on test is the 89cm English made Thunderpole Orbitor HD. Like with many antennas it can be bought under similar names such as Stinger and available in multiple colours. In my case it’s the Orbitor HD and when I’m on the hills next time I’ll make a video and see how it’s going to work.

    • The coil is a spring so if on a mirror and hits trees on a truck it “springs back ok” that’s what was told (not by Thunderpole) but by someone else who runs the same antenna

    • Hi Christian. Kindly use contact and I’ll reply and can send photo via mail.

I asked about the bend etc and was told antenna is like a spring, it is called Springer in UK so as truckers use it then it bends alot.

    • Hello…. A short first report … I built up the antenna very fast last night, looks very good, really receives very well. The coil is very big … but !!! … also very soft, so that the antenna allways strongly in all directions back and forth. I will send a picture later … Also I will later report on how the reception properties are. The swr is good. Regards…. Christian.
