Ranger RCI 2970n3 €890

Good news for those who don’t want the “faff” of ordering a Ranger in the USA and paying import duties and taxes. This radio is now freely available from the Netherlands for €890 excluding shipping but import duties and taxes into Europe paid. I’ve read many people wanting to import them! So buy one why you can.

Note the words below!

Introducing the all new Ranger RCI2970N3 300 watt 10 and 12 meter radio with built-in blue LED frequency display, green backlit push button controls, and features the standard 2970 features such as SSB, CW, 6-pin channel changing microphone, and awesome voice clarity.
Please be aware – this radio will slightly drift frequency as it heats up, during SSB operation you may notice the radio has changed it’s operating frequency from it’s standard cold state — this is outside of our control. Also, small scratches on the faceplate and case may appear to have been “sharpied” with a marker — THIS IS DONE BY RANGER

  1. Hallo Simon ,
Many Thanks for your News !!!
I think it´s important to tell , that the Frequency Range of all Rangers since DX Version can be expanded by an 25€ adapter to convert the radio to continuous coverage 24 to 32 MHZ

Also I read somewhere about the N3 just 100W in AM / FM / CW “not sure”

Best Regards Armin from Heidelberg “Big Ranger Fan”

PS.: May be this Ranger will be cheaper one Day over JabberProducts.co.UK

    • AM/FM: 10~100 w, Peak AM: 200~400, SSB PEP: 200~350

It’s mentioned in tag line 24-30 MHz. Need to try keep information semi-legal.

Also important to say it’s not CE approved and also not ROHS so absolutely not too legal in Europe.
