Here is one for the books. Using 500 milliwatts from Mt Fuji Japan and working Kangaroo island Australia 43RC502 Tony. Getting a S2 report from the island in Australia. Seems a real good contact and sure some people will have many a comment I suppose. Let’s hope we see more of these style of contacts over the months ahead. This contact is not made with 5 watts but 500mW (500 Miliwatts). Therefore the Japanese station received a report of only of 5 and 2. Japan has very limited CB laws. Only Portable equipment with fixed antennas allowed. http://yk221.sakura.ne.jp/right.html
Yes was typo from guy who reported on the cluster as stated 5w it was corrected this afternoon by another station that recorded the contact. Great looking radio the Japanese one I like it
