Conditions have been really pretty good across the EU for radio the past days. Turning on the radio early in the morning and all channels are bursting with voices from literally everywhere. I decided to give a try on my Randy III** with a handmade microphone adapter with an Astatic D104 Minuteman and Himalaya WB on the fence post.

** Yes my radio is a modified one. It’s unlocked and with the contacts here the power was on H which means around 7-8 watts. I lost the guarantee as it’s modified! Remember to play safe with radios as you can easily mess up something and then have troubles getting it repaired. 🧙‍♂️
