My biggest thanks to Ralf! Your most kind and you’ve recorded a first so really big congratulations. You sir have made history. This was first contact on George II
There is WAY more to come! Please wait… It’s the most advanced radio I’d say in GPE history. Engineered / designed in Europe.. Download the manual you’ll need it.

I wonder if it will have the bad display problems of its cousin the 980? Or did they use a different display? I wonder why they didn’t use the McKinley frame – front firing speaker as it’s a rock solid design. Been a workhorse for me.
I can say this radio is very far removed from 980, Grant II and indeed McKinley. The display is different absolutely.. About the frame? You’d need ask someone at President I’ve no idea at all. I’d say ?? This radio has similar design external case as Richard
Nice Radio indeed. Great to hear it first time on the air. 😀
I was shocked Ralf as only made a few calls on 27315 as was monitoring audio with NRC on and off. 19WAC108 Joost answered and faded away as poor conditions but you recorded it. Congratulations to you and indeed the first. Again I can say was shocked really.
