*VIDEO* Roger Bleeps President George II

I was asked about the George II roger beeps. So my controversial opinion is this. Many Anytone radios have these bleeps and so adding them makes people think this radio is a copy / paste Anytone. Where as it’s really quite a different radio under the hood. I also agree many want and like multiple bleeps but I’m an old git so think be unique and have different bleeps. If you can buy a Jopix, Anytone, Team and has the President bleep also in my opinion not good either!

I understand the vast amount of naysayers who want multiple tones this I truly understand. But you need have unique ones as if you’ve the same as everyone else no matter how different, changed, hard work is on the inside on the bleep front it’s still same bleeps that are on way too many other radios now.

Be unique or go home!

  1. I had a pmr446 Motorola Talkabout walkie, which came with those same Roger Beeps. I use the 1st, I don’t like scandalous RBs, and in SSB I see them as very necessary. Best regards, 73 👍from 30LS001, Carlos.

  2. The True roger beep you should have is the NASA Quindar tones beep!
The “intro tone”, a 250-millisecond tone at 2,525 hertz on TX, followed by a 250 ms 2,475 Hz “outro tone”,release off ptt
see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quindar_tones to listen to them.

Now CB mfrs please add key up tone frequency ,tone legth, tone pre-amble time on tx,and same on release tone settings.
Then we can all sound like NASA controllers on the cb radios!

    Many thanks CB Manufacturers
