Sunday 14th Jan, what a wonderful day of radio, again some brilliant contacts calling from the mainland of Europe and Scandanavia …… Timo 56TR277 again made himself known to us with great patience and decorum he allowed me to pass him round to quite a few stations that were waiting to give him a call…. Tom 310AT101 came bowling through very loudly and also allowed many to make that contact with another rare station….. Sia our friend from Turkey this last time was on a very tight timetable and couldnt stay with us long enough to pass round to others…this wasn’t helped by a UK GASBAG that shall remain anonymous, please if you are given the cnance of taking the microphone exchange details maybe exchange what equipment you are using but please also bear in mind that you are not the only person that wishes to make that elusive contact…..
Those rxing via SDR, QRP callers mobiles and portables we will leave gaps to allow the contacts time and opportunity to make that contact….
Our friends further afield especially down in the S.W. of England please bear with us as height has been an issue and locations have been far from brilliant… Thanks for your patience in this matter….
