Last Sunday’s Event, was a resounding success, we managed to raise funds totalling over £1500 for the Air Ambulance Service , apart from the odd straggler that has still to send their funds we have reached as far as we can … A big big thanks for everyone that made efforts in sharing their details and calling into us for the event, also to those that did make the effort in hosting or co-hosting …. Darryl, Stuart, Gina and myself, The DRDX Event for the Air Ambulance and also celebrating 9 yrs of the DRDX Group ,Team and Net On the day we raised a further £83 from contacts made on the day, which for 2 3/4 hrs was not bad at all…..
We had amazing contacts from Neil up in Barrow In Furness( Lake District) sending an amazing Signal 7-8 Radio 5 to my location on the Clee Hills, best i have recieved him from that location …Neil, well done sir.
As usual ALL GROUPS, ALL STATIONS, ALL NATIONS are welcome to call into this net, GAPS will be left for PORTABLES, MOBILES, QRP CALLERS, and SDR RXers with access to a radio.
