Launched to the world by Thijs from the world wide acclaimed http://www.cbradio.nl comes the all new Midland 28 CB Radio & Midland 18 CB Radio

Midland presents the new Midland 28 CB Multi 4W model, a mid-range device that integrates a series of advanced features for optimal communication. The colour LCD display is one of the most notable innovations: twice larger than the 18 model, the Midland 28 offers seven selectable colours, thus ensuring superior visibility and reading clarity, particularly useful in variable light conditions. This allows users to easily read information, regardless of ambient lighting.
Another notable feature is the built-in digital squelch, which significantly improves signal handling, ensuring communications are always clear and interference-free. This system eliminates weak signals and noise, improving the listening experience.
The CB Multi 4W is powered by 12/24V, making it extremely versatile and suitable for use in a wide range of vehicles, from small cars to large trucks. Three-level noise cancellation is another important feature that significantly reduces environmental noises, ensuring communications remain clear. This is essential to ensure clear communication.
The integrated VOX allows you to communicate hands-free, increasing safety while driving and respecting the regulations that limit the use of CB in vehicles. This feature allows users to speak without having to press any buttons, improving convenience and safety.
The new microphone, equipped with an improved microphone capsule, offers fuller and richer sound modulation. Furthermore, the microphone includes three buttons (UP/DOWN/NC) which facilitate the use and navigation of the device, making it even more practical and intuitive.
The CB Multi 4W represents a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. Midland has been able to integrate the best features of previous models with the most advanced technologies, offering a device that meets the needs of both more traditional users and those looking for the latest in terms of CB communication.
The CB 18 is a modern multi-standard transceiver capable of operating in both AM and FM modes, with a power of 4 watts, covering a frequency range between 26.565 and 27.99125 MHz. This means it can operate on all approved European frequency bands and also has direct access to channels 9 and 19 for emergencies. The CB 18’s microphone has been designed with a new capsule, offering fuller voice modulation. Furthermore, it is equipped with three buttons (UP, DOWN and LOCK) which allow you to change channels quickly and easily.
The dual squelch mode (manual and DS) with five adjustable levels helps reduce ambient noise, ensuring clearer reception.
The reception attenuator (RF gain), adjustable on seven levels, allows you to obtain clean reception, avoiding possible distortions caused by transmissions on adjacent channels.
The VOX function, which is activated when voice is detected, allows hands-free communication and is adjustable on five levels.
The multi-colour LCD display (7 colours) with S-meter makes the CB 18 aesthetically pleasing and provides clear and easily readable information.
There is also an external speaker socket, which can be used to further amplify the sound. As for power, the device comes with a cable equipped with a cigarette lighter socket, which allows for easy connection without the need to connect directly to the vehicle battery.
The compact dimensions (114x43x180 mm) and light weight (499 g) make the CB 18 easy to install.
