  1. I’m going to say it now – this will become one of the best selling radios. Been waiting for a small unit like this with NRC for years.

  2. Ok, well with no clarifier it will be fairly useless on SSB as nobody is ever dead
on center frequency. With my current setup with my Uniden Washington base
radio I have to use the clarifier for fine tuning SSB signals. I hope they rethink that
and do as I mentioned with a dual ganged potentiometer to allow for adjustment
of received ssb signals. I guess if the channelized options allow for adjustment down
to 1hz steps then I guess this would act like a clarifier / fine tune but not as easy
as a rotary clarifier control for sure.

    • As before and again the details of full specification as I understand so throwing stones into air at the moment. When it’s released spend the $$ and see what it’s got. As at the moment you need wait, only relatively small details are out there in Portuguese as this radio is designed for the Brazilian market and not locked in specification as I repeat numerous times earlier

  3. I hope they use a dual ganged potentiometer on the right hand side of the radio
so one can be for on / off / menu. The other part of the pot will be the clarifier control. In the pic
it looks like a singled ganged potentiometer so you would need to select clar from the front controls then I would guess the rotary pot becomes a clarifier for that moment.

  4. Finally someone has got their act together & will bring out a compact
am / fm / ssb cb radio. I knew it could be done in this size of radio as there
were handheld cb radios with ssb with a chassis 1/4 of the size of this one.

It will be interesting to see it in stores & the final retail price.
