This Duplex repeater, I have been trying to get a good recording of for the last year. But because ch39 is so very busy with DXers and other users on SSB, it’s been a real mission! But over the last couple of days, it’s come in just good enough to log. In the first part of the video, you can see me keying it up and getting a tail. Interestingly, there seems to be a simplex repeater on the input 26.575, as you can hear me being repeated. The Duplex repeater, repeating the simplex repeater? I am not 100% sure if this Duplex repeater needs a 67hz tone, as I seem to get into it with both tone and no tone. But unless I am getting another repeater on ch39, it’s certainly transmitting a 67hz tone. There is a high frequency courtesy tone (roger beep) on the tail, but in most cases can’t be heard with low signal. Don’t know about power/radio and antennas, but it sounds like it would be a 4 watt repeater?
