16th March I.O.M. 137/26DR017/m, what a glorious day of radio, Big thanks to each and every station for sharing the net in the CLUSTERS and also making efforts to get into the log. 2 Hours of pure melee, but I hope i did it justice and got the biggest majority of those logged, for those I struggled with my apologies but thanks to you all for the time and effort.
Before kick-off I could hear, our lads in the West Midlands giving the odd call and I tried desperately to return that call but struggled , this was while I was driving up to my vantage point. Stations heard talking among themselves were, 26DR020 Stu, 26DR231 Steve, 26DR288 John, 26DR331 John, there were others but not quite as distinct as those mentioned above. Mick 26PD077, Cory 26DR483, Tony 26DR034/p, among many others during the net times were heard but at times it got difficult to maintain order. Brian 26DR970 NORTHAMPTON, you were heard too , but as the frequency was that busy I struggled to return, as was the case with Terry 26DR006.
Alpha Tango Stations made great efforts with this net and it was a pleasure to hear you all and to make that contact.
There is an Eqsl for anyone that managed the contact, please be in touch as I do not have everybody’s emails and may not be friends on FB with them either. PLEASE BEAR WITH ME AS I GO THROUGH THE EQSL’S AS FAST AS POSSIBLE THIS COMING WEEK. KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN.
This is a rough guide to the dxcc’s heard and a QSO held with, 01.02,03,05,09,26,34,45,47,50,56,68,93,108,109,137,161,163,233,327,328,331,339,341. There were others that I struggled to drag out of the RF noise, but big thanks to each and every station making the log.
As usual ALL GROUPS, ALL STATIONS , ALL NATIONS, ARE WELCOME TO CALL INTO THIS NET. GAPS WILL BE LEFT FOR MOBILES,PORTABLES QRP CALLERS AND SDR rxers that have access to a radio.
