*IT’S ARRIVED* CRT Concorde I Ham Radio

Look what we have here. From Monday at the CRT Webshop and Friday delivery via GLS. Small format radio considering the power options it has on offer. We have multi norm setting with 4/20w AM and 4/20/50 watts FM. We can have amateur band HAM 28.000-29.700 with the same output levels and of course HF with the same power and also 24.7-30.1. The only thing missing and what I have asked and others for months is add SSB to this chassis!!

Initial good button press, strong controls and this is one of the nicer chassis from QX. So we are letting it warm up and more news later

CTCSS, DCS, Split or Repeater Mode, NRC, Echo and Roger Bleep, play and record messages and more. Will be an interesting look around and YES it’s 10m should have SSB and not echo and Roger Bleeps

  1. Hi Simon,
I am interested to see how you get on with this one. I took the plunge and bought the Luiton LT-778, not quite as feature packed as the Concorde but an impressive radio for the price. VFO mode and direct key frequency input is a great feature. I haven’t found the high power mode yet, I think I may need to move a jumper inside but dont want to open it up just yet. NB seems to work well. Audio transmit sounds strong and rich on FM and AM.

Keep up your good work 👍

    Kind regards,
    Anthony
