Thank you to Axel & Helmut Frequenzwaschl who both kindly sent me the link to tell me the AT-5000 CPS had appeared on the website of Anytone and would it work on the Albrecht AE-5900 radio. My first thoughts were no, and then you need the flash and programming cable for the said two radios
As thought you cannot read the Albrecht as no matter it’s not the AT-5000 so we are not shocked at all. And the data, flash and programming cable YES I do have one for them both models.
So even with the cable nothing happens which is absolutely 100% correct as it’s a different radio!
So if the Albrecht will get CPS and whether we will see new firmware then the answer is the Markus tried and tested “and now we must wait”

A software developer could adapt the program to the 5900. Perhaps a patch would suffice. I don’t think anything will ever come from Albrecht.
It really depends if Albrecht asked for it to be PC Programmable. For my 2 cent I think would be a wise idea from them to get it programmable.
