Please read Avera Comments about George II & Washington base station

Avera has available the President Johnson-3-Base and JFK-3-Base. Some people ask for WASHINGTON and GEORGE in a base version.
We tried to fit these models in a BASE001.
GEORGE is simply too wide to fit in.
WASHINGTON is also too wide. We took of the top cover and bottom cover. The radio slides in but is stopped at the point where the sides are thicker for the screws of the mounting bracket.
In theory these points can be grind down, but we are afraid this might damage the radio. So for now NO WASHINGTON BASE !
