I bought a couple of these on eBay recently and at the weekend tested one of them out. It was SENSATIONAL how was working just a few feet off the ground on a telescopic fibreglass sort of flag mast. On FM spoke to Liverpool Mr Mike who reads here, have been given +20 to +30db reports from Glasgow, Crewe Cheshire who didn’t believe my location, Eire and all over the place.
Great build quality, was a 1/2 antenna and the SWR was perfect. Wasn’t even moving between almost 27991 and 26500 and performed absolutely brilliantly. It lowered my noise from the usual 3-4 till 1-2 and was simple to install and operate. Bought for the summertime think it will be used more than that. Just wanted to say for the price,need to add import duties and taxes as from non EU but was a worker. Absolutely dead impressed with it really.
