One might think there are already enough good and versatile transceivers for shortwave, VHF, and UHF. But fortunately, there’s still plenty of room for improvements and new product variations.
How about a transceiver the size of the FT-891, but with additional coverage of the VHF and UHF bands?
We’ve long been yearning for a worthy successor to the good old FT-857.
The fact that manufacturers are learning from each other can only benefit us as consumers. So, let’s see what technical innovations are in store for us. The next few weeks will be exciting once again.
